U17 Boys &Girls – I would like to say thank you and Good Bye to our U17s Boys and Girls who have become a great group of young adults.  For those choosing different paths we trust that your athletics journey and friendships will be everlasting.  For those staying in athletics we look forward to you developing your athletics skills further and also coaching our young athletes to become stars like each of you are.  We will miss you so come back and visit anytime, all the best to our U17 champs.

Also wanted to say thanks to Nick McGowan (Member of Parliament) for stopping by and experiencing a great afternoon of competition with the athletes and to spend time appreciating this great sport.

Centre Games – Saturday 23rd March is our Centre Games.  This is our championship week where athletes can showcase their skills, in the events they have selected to compete in and to have fun.

So your athletes must have registered already otherwise they cannot compete.  We will be sending out more details this week, but keep in mind we have set an expectation that it will be a bigger than normal competition day, starting from about 7.30ish (setup) and concluding at about 3pm (pack up).  Duties need to be done on the day to ensure events run to the program.  It’s a big day with a lot of planning behind the scenes needed so we ask our parents to help it run smoothly on the day by participating.  If you have questions please ask and email us at

Good-Bye – For those athletes that cannot attend Centre Games, I thank you for supporting Ringwood Little Athletics Centre for this season.  I trust you and your athlete enjoyed the experience and I am looking forward to seeing you again next Track& Field season.  Don’t forget that you can participate in Cross Country as part of your membership.  I appreciate any feedback you have, so feel free to email us at

AGM & Presentation day – TBC ( will either be late April or early May).

Cross Country details – Information will be available in the coming weeks and the calendar is being finalised.  We are still seeking a Team Manager who can run the cross country season.  Its easy, so feel free to email me at

See you at the Track on Saturday,
