Hi everyone, What a great week 6 of competition for our Ringwood Combined event.
We had lots of fun in the sun and what a list of great results achieved for this event and lots of medals given out to athletes that participated in all their events.
Athletes achieved a whopping 347 PBs this week and there were 3 centre records achieved by Jack Mazzetti , Hamish Mazzetti and Isaac Ladd – amazing effort to all of our athletes.
We apologise to all athletes and parents for not being able to finalise the points calculations and award trophies, we will do that first thing this Saturday morning. We also had some technical issues with some track results (U9 girls) we believe we have corrected, but are interested in any feedback you may have, so please feel free to email us on email@example.com or happy to chat at the track.

Box Hill relays – Sunday Nov 20th

EMR relays – Saturday 3rd Dec @ Ringwood
Ringwood has not hosted an EMR event of this size for many years so we are excited and it would be great to see many Ringwood athletes compete at home. Your entries and team names must be confirmed no later than Sunday 5pm 13th November – so get moving. Lets get as many home teams as possible. If you need more information, please reach out to your team relay age group manager or send an email to email@example.com
State combined event – this weekend
This weekend some of our athletes are heading to Lakeside for the State Combined events, so we wish them all the best, Go team Ringwood.
Uniforms & Patches
A reminder you must have a coles patch sewn on your centre top, the proper shorts and an athlete’s patch must be visible at all times when competing (so no jumpers covering patches during an event).
Trials and Registration cut offs
Please finalise new athlete memberships or trial athletes no later than Thursday 11.59pm to ensure athletes are registered in time for Saturday competition.
A reminder that training is available for U9-U17s only and is on Tuesdays and Sundays. For more information, please refer to this link: https://ringwoodlac.com.au/coaching-and-training/
Safety issues – Keep off the track and infield at all times
A reminder that parents must not follow their athletes to events by walking on the track, infield or apron area. These areas must remain clear at all times for athlete safety. Dogs – Dogs must be on leash and not within 15 metres of the track during competition.
Duties – As usual we need your help so make sure you sign up for a duty. If there are not enough volunteers it becomes very difficult to run any events.
Have a great week and see you at the track – Weather permitting !!
