Hi everyone, well that’s a wrap for the Summer Track & Field season for 2022-2023. Congratulations to all athletes that received an award, you have worked hard to be your personal best. To all athletes, well done on a great season with lots of fun times with your mates and wishing all athletes and families a great Easter.
It’s not over!!!
Cross Country season will be starting shortly. There are two options for cross country, Saturday at Knox or Sunday with Eastern 7’s (including Ringwood). Saturday competition starts on April 22, please refer to http://klac23.org.au/wordpress/ for more details for the Saturday competition.
Sunday competition, or Eastern 7’s, starts on April 30th, refer to the information on our website here:
and the Eastern 7’s calendar published here:
https://ringwoodlac.com.au/athletics-ringwood-events-calendar/ (scroll to the bottom).
All you need to do is make sure your athlete has their patch and uniform, turn up to the Saturday or Sunday competition and run! If you are not a registered little athlete, please refer to https://lavic.com.au/ to join.
I will be team manager for the Sunday events only, but will post information about both competitions through regular news articles on our website, emails and through our social channels. If you need more information, please email us at email@example.com.
For now, we are going to take a break for a few weeks but will be back in time to make sure athletes get their patches and uniforms are available for purchase prior to the cross country start dates.
Want to be part of the committee? Want to help out around the centre? Do you have great marketing or social media skills? Do you have an athletic background and want to be part of the centre? Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to express your interest in these key areas. It takes many volunteers time to run the centre, but more hands make light work!
See you the other side of Easter!!
